This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in red over black leather and is equipped with a matching number rear-mounted 3.2L flat-six paired with a G50 5-speed manual transaxle. This two owner car was purchased new in Bellevue, WA where it remained with the original owner for 18 years until 1991, and sold to the 2nd owner with approximately 111K miles. The 2nd and current owner moved the car to Carnation, WA and added about 33K miles in 11 years of ownership. This G50 Targa now shows just over 144k miles, and is great example of a very well maintained G50 driver that needs absolutely nothing except a new owner.
Document service work during the last 10k miles included a service to the a/c system, a new a/c receiver dryer, a valve adjustment, the installation of new ignition starter, rebuilt rear brake calipers, steering column bearing, turn signal switch, air filter, oil filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, alternator belt, DME relay, distributor cap & rotor, and more. A receipt dated June 2010 show a restoration of the Targa top.
The body is finished in Indischrot Red (L80K), and can be viewed close-up from various angles in the galley below. Noted imperfections include some small rock chips on the front bumper, and a few light swirl marks in the paint. Otherwise, the exterior is flawless and free of any rust or accidents. No accidents or other damage can be seen or are noted on the included Carfax report. This example is equipped with factory sport seats, sport shock absorbers, central locking system, and more. The targa top is in excellent condition and seals perfectly. Two original targa top tools are included in the sale.
Staggered-width 16? Fuchs wheels with black centers wear Toyo Proxes tires and were professionally reconditioned in preparation for the sale, at which point new lug nuts and center caps were also installed.
Trimmed in black leather, the interior is equipped with a factory 4-spoke steering wheel and shifter. The dash is free of cracks and any major blemish. 144k miles are shown on the 6-digit odometer. All of the seats are original and in very good condition. A small 3 inch repair is noted on the driver's seat booster.
This 911 Targa Carrera is now being offed with its original owners manual & maintainance book in it's original Porsche binder, service documents dating back to 2010, an original spare tire & jack, 2 targa top tools, 2 sets of keys, a clean car fax and a clear title.
